A few large record labels started showing interest but the Gargoyles disbanded when Liv Tyler's paternity ended up becoming public in 1991. The autobiography was issued in 2002 and it ended up being a New York Times bestseller. Martin's Press titled "Rebel Heart: An American Rock and Roll Journey". In 2001, Bebe Buell published her autobiography with St. Todd Rundgren's Liv's legal adoptive dad. She is also the mother of actress Liv Tyler, whose biological father is Steven Tyler, the legendary frontman of Aerosmith. She has also had liaisons with other rock musicians during the time and over the subsequent decades. She moved to New York in 1972 after she signed a modeling contract with Eileen Ford and garnered much notoriety after her publicized relationship with poplar musician Todd Rundgren. She is famous for being the Playboy magazine's November 1974 Playmate of the Month. Beverle Lorence Buell or better known by her stage name Bebe Buell is an American singer and model.
